The expected results vary from patient to patient. When patients are good candidates and follow the therapy procedure as instructed, men AND women can often expect increased density and new hair growth.
Blood will be drawn from your arm to collect and spin down into platelet rich plasma and fibrin. The scalp area is numbed in the affected area. The PRP/PRF is then injected into the thinning areas of the scalp. Recovery is virtually non-existent as it is a non-surgical procedure, with usually, only slight tenderness for a day or two in the areas treated.
Our inital protocol is 4-6 PRP/PRF treatments a month apart, with hair boosting injections recommended 1-2 times a year thereafter, for successful results. Protocol may vary based on the patient. We offer complimentary consults to discuss if you may be a candidate for this treatment.
