By increasing the temperature of the follicle to therapeutic levels gradually and keeping the skin protected with cooling, our laser can effectively treat up to skin type V. Dark pigmented hair is required for best results, as we cannot treat reds, grays or blondes.

Before the treatment, the area to be treated will be cleansed. Everyone in the room must wear protective eyewear during the procedure. A cooling gel is applied to the treated area. Patients feel what is like warm pinpricks or a rubber band being snapped against the skin. Overall the procedure is very tolerable. How long your treatment lasts depends on the size of the area being treated. 

We generally recommend an initial series of 6 approximately 4-8 weeks apart depending on the body area treated. Maintenance treatments may be necessary as pregnancy, hormone fluctuations and other factors may cause hair to regrow. This may vary patient to patient.
